The Gengar one glows a soft purple that's perfect as a bedside light without being too bright. All five characters are painted cleanly, no smudges or weird seams on the vinyl. My kid carries Pikachu around the house constantly.
The built-in battery means I can move it from my desk to the hallway without hunting for an outlet, which is way handier than I expected. Pikachu's face glows softly enough to use as a night light but the whole set looks good as decor during the day too.
The built-in battery means I can move Psyduck from my nightstand to the hallway without hunting for an outlet, which sold me on this thing. All five characters are finished vinyl, so the paint doesn't look cheap up close. Gengar sits on my desk now and honestly the room feels less empty at night.
